B&M kitchen quote, explained
Quote QU-2615 from B&M Joinery, dated 6 Nov 2026, valid until 6 Dec 2026. It covers the kitchen, pantry and laundry joinery, supplied and fitted. Everything else (appliances, plumbing, electrical, painting and so on) is on us or the builder.

The quote prices each line before GST and adds 15% at the end. Delivery and install across all three areas comes to $5,366.88 + GST.
What it doesn't cover
B&M exclude: appliances and installing them, tapware, lighting, splashbacks and tiling, gib stopping, painting, all electrical, plumbing and building work, bulkheads, bench upstands and mirrors. They also say wood grain or two colours in one job can cost extra.
The builder (CBC, Garry Morton, estimate 20 Oct) has a kitchen, pantry and laundry package of $18,950 + GST ($21,792 incl). It covers the walls, building materials and labour, plumbing ($6,000), electrical ($2,500) and dump fees. These are PC sums, so they can move.
The rest is not covered by anyone yet. These are our estimates, incl GST:

The whole kitchen, roughly
Questions for Ashleigh at B&M
- The stone benchtop is $584.55 + GST. That looks far too low for about 4.3 m² of 20 mm stone (the L-shaped run plus the 2.1 m island), which is usually $3,500 to $5,000. Is the stone inside the cabinetry price, or is the island top missing?
- The pantry benchtop is listed at quantity 0, $0. Is it included or left off?
- Two colours. The kitchen fronts are a Mastercraft colour and the pantry and laundry are white. Their own exclusions say two colours in a job can cost extra. Is that already priced?
- Pantry door. If we go with an open doorway instead of the hidden door, what's the credit?
- Old kitchen. Who removes and dumps it? CBC's estimate has $450 of dump fees for this area, so probably Garry, but confirm.
- Layout check. B&M put the pantry in the west end of the old hall and the laundry east of it. Builder guide v5, which Garry priced from, had them swapped (laundry west, using the old front door). Make sure B&M and Garry are working off the same plan.
- Heights aren't on the drawings: bench height, and whether the overheads go to the ceiling.
- Lead time and install date, and whether freight is extra (the T&Cs allow it).

Invoices are due within 7 days, and late amounts attract 2.5% compounding interest. You have 72 hours after accepting to cancel. After that the deposit is non-refundable unless B&M cancel. Variations we ask for in writing get added to or taken off the price.
